In addition to "Blame Canada", I propose a new tradition: Blame Affirmative Action!

It's easy. Here is how it works.

1)Don't get something.
2)Blame Affirmative Action.

Example:

"I didn't get hired today. Damn Affirmative Action!"

Or,

"I didn't get into Harvard. Stupid Affirmative Action!"

Or,

"My wife left me! For a black man! From Canada! Goddamned Affirmative Action!"
